I'm glad we have a resource we can send people to when they raise the hormone question. Over the past 7 years, that has come up repeatedly. If you follow the links, there is also a link to a pretty good piece on whether grass-fed is better than grain-finished. Amanda does a nice job as well as the article she is blogging about.

I used to wonder about the push-back from the beef industry as they are constantly attacked but you rarely see anything from them. I got sick of those sorry adds about lean beef being "what's for dinner" on the one hand, but on the other hand, it seemed to drive down the cost of the good fatty meat so that was a plus, but.....
