I ate rabbit for dinner, baked on duck's fat. I ate about a half of it and the fatty juice was so good that I drank a full cup of it. My belly feels like I ate 10 bricks..lol.

Hello Martin, didn't you mention some words about an eating disorder yourself - in connection with your daughter (I couldn't find the post anymore?)?

Many people with (Huh) are attracted to this kind of diet...how are you getting on; "belly feels like you ate 10 bricks"...Dodgy?

Reading all about your hunting and stuff I have come to the conclusion that you are the definition of a man. Nice work.

Hi Bill! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your comments. I really appreciate it.

If you have any questions on ED, just ask me. I seem able to talk about it without flipping out.

Thank you Suzanne. I am not concerned about ED I am way too far from it, trust me.

You crack me up Nicola. Where did you get that? Belly felt heavy because I ate a little too much fat...

Did you guys all came here to spy on me because I said something in ED section?

Thx. I am running low on butter, I know. I eat about a stick per day. Once it's gone I'll switch to lard again until I feel buttery again ...lol...then I will visit the store. 15 pounds is a lot!

Happy weekend to you guys! Going to check on my horses and then back to cleaning.

Um, no, spy, is not an occupation I have tried yet. LOL But give me time! I did not see you posting in ED thread. I was up obscenely early, so was reading, went on your journal and read about butter, and DING DING DING, DECIDED to write how I LIKE BUTTER, TOO!

LOL; that's why I'm here! But it's really because I saw the bear in your avatar. My husband's a bow hunter (although he'll occasionally go out during rifle season, and he takes ducks and game birds with a gun, too). Elk and deer, mostly. He's never gotten a bear, but a couple years ago he went out bear hunting with a friend. He might do it again this spring.

(Your food storage pics got my attention, too--we've got a chest freezer, and speaking as the person who has to go dig out the meat, I really wish we'd gotten a stand-up freezer instead Lol.)

Hey, you mentioned duck fat. Mark (husband) says he has a hard time getting the fat to separate from under the skin of the ducks--even the mallards. Do you buy your duck fat, or is there a special technique for removing the fat? Oh, and hi!
